Both developer and artist say they're of Native American heritage. This deck incorporates traditional Native American symbolism, particularly that of the plains and southwest. The melange is quite interesting in places. The line artwork is nice, but the coloring is rather primitive in places. Like the Motherpeace deck, much of it seems to have been done with crayons. I think a stronger color scheme would have worked better for this deck; the line work is strong enough that more definite colors would have enhanced rather than weakened it. The instruction book includes quite a bit of detail on Native American traditions and mythology. If you're at all interested in Native American culture, this deck would be a good buy.
