Non-alcoholic Wassail Punch

(Described by someone at an SCA event as "the best fake wine I've ever had")

Ingredients

1 gallon apple cider (or 4L, or some other large amount)
1/2 gallon cranberry juice (or 2L, or some other large amount equal to half the first one)
Lemon juice
Stick cinnamon
Whole cloves
Whole allspice
Misc powdered holiday spices (I've used cinnamon, cloves, allspice, nutmeg)

Directions

In a large pot, pour in the apple cider and cranberry juice and heat it over medium heat. If you're fiddly about ease of removal, get some cheesecloth and put in two or three cinnamon sticks and ten-ish whole cloves and drop that in the pot. Otherwise, just chunk in the spices and let 'em float.

Add allspice, misc powdered spices, and lemon juice to taste.

Serve hot.
