Homemade Soft Cheese Balls

Ingredients:

Cheese cloth
Plain yogurt
various herbs, fruits and nuts depending on what you like.

Directions

You combine (either by hand or through processor) the plain yogurt with spices like Basil and Garlic, Thyme and Rosemary, cranberries and cream cheese, almonds and brown sugar etc. and wrap them up into the cheesecloth like small balls. There is a lot of room for creativity!

Hang them in your kitchen and let them dry out (might want to put something underneath) for about 3-4 days depending on the size of the ball. When done they will be a soft, spreadable cheese.

When ready to serve unwrap and serve with baguette bread or crackers.

These balls make a fun addition to the holiday as everyone can make the kind they love best and experiment with fun flavors at little cost and effort, though, your kitchen may look a bit silly :p

Tips: Use fresh herbs and fruits for the best result, triple layer the cheese cloth and always add a pinch of salt
