Brendan DarLeras goes to work as Corporation assassin.
2633 -- Brendan DarLeras captured and tortured by the Syndicate.
CrimeLord declares war; Kesslac leads Shadowguard on a hunt,
capturing and returning Brendan's torturers for him to kill.
2636 -- Kesslac resigns from the Corporation to marry Anastasia
Marinakov, a woman he fell in love with while she hid him from
the Syndicate. Brendan DarLeras made second in command of the
Shadowguard.
2637 -- Laria Kesslac/Kessleman born. Attempted assassination (at
Christmas) of Drustan Kesslac foiled when Anastasia takes a
blaster bolt meant for him. Kesslac and Laria flee to Naj with his
oath-brother, Sikander.
2640 -- Kesslac marries Cheung Mei Ling, his business partner's
daughter.
2641 -- Mei Ling betrays the Raven to authorities. He and Laria barely
escape to Agate, where he begins to rebuild his business.
2644 -- Jess Winters born.
2646 -- Kesslac's assassination of Baron Hardon of Vesta foiled by Kiyoshi
Owajima; Kesslac reluctantly agrees to work for the Empire. He
sends Laria to stay with his brother (now Duke of Sector Hydra)
for safety.
2647 -- Vayu of Cobra Family selected as Ranger.
Matt Evans resigns from the Corporation, turns Imperial evidence,
joins Kesslac.
Brendan DarLeras sent to kill Evans and Kesslac; in a ritual
battle, Kesslac is seriously wounded but convinces Brendan his
mission was based on a lie. Brendan resigns from the
Corporation, informing the Hierarchy and Shadowguard of the lie,
and joins Kesslac.
Rev Harper assigned as the Empire's liaison with Kesslac.
Kesslac's battle against the Corporation begins to heat up after
the Black Widow murders one of his agents.
2648 -- Kesslac is elected CrimeLord by the Shadowguard, confirmed by
the Hierarchy.
2649 -- (New Year's Day) Kesslac announces to Owajima that he is the
new CrimeLord, and his alliance with the Empire is over.
