3/4 cup butter, softened Filling:
1/4 cup butter, softened Directions Cream butter and sugars. Mix in egg and vanilla. Fold in dry ingredients. Roll dough into balls and place 2 in apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Using thumb, create an indention in each cookie. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes. To make filling, combine all ingredients except nutmeg. When cookies have *completely* cooled, spoon one rounded teaspoon of filling into the indention of each cookie. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Makes approx. 2 dozen. |
