Ingredients

800 g of lean veal (beef or pork will work as well)
2 T of olive oil
1 big onion
Garlic sauce
Red (hot) sauce (optional)
Some leaves of salad
Some leaves of red cole (cabbage)
Two tomatoes
About half a cucumber
A Turkish bread (the big, round, flat ones)

Procedures

1. Heat the oven to 220 C.

2. Clean the meat and tap it dry. Cut into thin slices. Add salt and pepper. Stick onto a spit, and rub in with olive oil.

3. Clean the vegetables and cut into thin slices.

4. Put the spit on a rack, and put it in the middle of the oven to grill for about 20 minutes, while turning regularly.

5. Cut the bread into 4 pieces, and cut those open, so you get a kind of pocket.

6. Put some garlic sauce, (red sauce), and vegetables into each piece of bread

7. Take the meat of the spit and put it into the bread, occasionally adding some of the vegetables and sauce(s), ending with some vegetables and sauce.
